Dear Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to 4th East Mediterranean Congress of Laboratory Animal Science that will be organized online between 9-11 December 2021. This meeting was initially planned to be held at Yeditepe University in Istanbul (Turkey) between 04 – 06th June 2020. However, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Congress Organising Committee postponed the meeting and then decided to organize it online on 9-11 December 2021.
There will be a workshop on current issues of laboratory animal science in Turkey that will bring professional veterinarians, government officials and scientists together on the morning of the first day (9th December, Thursday). The opening session and keynote lecture of the meeting will be held on the late afternoon of the same day. This international meeting is organized to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Laboratory Animal Science Association - Turkey.
We aim to prepare a strong scientific program and attract participants from several national and international institutions. The scientific program will include plenary lectures, symposia, panels, oral and poster sessions on all aspects of laboratory animal science. Representatives from FELASA, AALAC and ICLAS are also invited and expected to contribute to the scientific program and attend the meeting. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the scientific board and published in an electronic Abstract Book. Companies in laboratory animal science industry will be invited to attend the meeting and online exhibit their products to potential users.
